Wanna know the first thing that came into my mind while considering a gift for my girl?
PORT.
She loves it. There isn't a beverage on the planet that lights this girl up the way Port does. And I do mean "lights". She glows. Blissful, elated, completely at peace with the world. That's why Port does to my Gin.
Ok, so I'll get her a bottle of Port. But everyone knows you can't just get a bottle of booze, especially for your significant other. Either way, a higher priced bottle of the goodness won't hurt the ensemble present package.
I do that a lot. I won't have enough faith in one gift so I'll just keep adding to the bundle. Hey, it can't hurt.
Oh, and about the title of this post: when we met I'm pretty sure we would have settled for much less than each other. What I mean to say is: being desperate doesn't rule out finding someone special.
