So it's 2pm Friday, December 24th, 2010. Christmas Eve. But for all intents and purposes, it's GinniChristmas! Truth: right now is the first time this season I have even considered what "to give" the people in my life. The person closest to me, both physically (the piece of meat I lay next to every night) and emotionally (the persona I somehow wish both to pulverize and cherish, often at once) Virginia Christine Pinckert, should already be taken care of. But she's not. And honestly the only reason I have started considering what to give her this Christmas was that she pulled the "I'm gonna be running errands you can't know about this afternoon..." in what most certainly was an attempt to remind me to get her a present.
